Magali

Magali Morin:

A certified FEQ and Equine Canada Competition Coach, as well as the holder of a BA in psychology from McGill University, Magali is not only the co-owner of MD Stables but also the head trainer for horses and riders alike, as well as the show team.  From monitoring the educational psychology of the riders to understanding equine behaviour, all aspects are analysed in order to design a complete training program suitable for both horse and rider.

While specializing in the hunter-jumper discipline, Magali also emphasizes the quality of flat work.  She has had the opportunity to train with several jumping and dressage coaches, who helped her to develop her training methods; notably Josée Turcotte, Marie-Claire Savard, Erin Wilson, Gina Smith and the MillarBrook Farm team. Always looking for new ideas and wanting to improve her knowledge as well as that of her students, she organizes and takes part in several clinics every year.

Magali particularly appreciates motivated riders who wish to train towards clearly established goals, whether competitive or not. Her students can thus benefit from practical advice and guidance to improve their performance during their lessons but also while they train individually. A strong relationship built on trust is established between her and her pupils, furthering their development.

Dan

Dan

Daniel Sauvé:

A trained mechanic and the son of a farmer (dairy and major crops), Dan, co-owner of M.D. Stables, takes care of all maintenance, repairs and construction related to the farm. It is thanks to Dan that the horses and riders benefit from all of the installations available and can rely on the quality and security of the above.  Dan invests all of his time and energy in the farm, and is constantly improving the facilities to better meet the needs of the clients.

Andrée-Anne

Andrée-Anne

Andrée-Anne Minier :

An Equine Canada certified Rider 8, Andrée-Anne (aka Andie) is actively preparing for the Competition Coach evaluation.  Motivated and full of energy, she is currently completing her college education at McGill University in physical education, an important asset for any coach or trainer. Her many years of experience as a riding camp instructor and coordinator as well as a professional groom on the Quebec ‘A’ circuit and the Florida show circuit have more than adequately prepared her for a long and successful career in the equestrian world.

Having joined our team and here to stay, Andrée-Anne teaches riders of all ages who wish to progress and evolve, whether interested in show jumping, dressage or ground work. She helps all of her students define and achieve their personal goals. She follows Magali and the team at the horse shows and thus introduces riders to the local circuit.

Mylène

Mylène

Mylène Major :

Dedicaded mother and business owner, Mylène grew up on a farm surrounded by horses. A lifelong dream of hers was always to share her passion with other riders, so when presented with the chance to join our team, she seized the opportunity! With her Rider 6 certification from Equine Canada, she will soon become a certified instructor.

Mylène feels profound joy when her students first make a connection with a horse and marvels at every moment of discovery and success, just like they do. It is for that reason that she teaches primarily beginner riders of all ages who develop their newfound passion with us. She happily takes over lessons at home when Magali and Andrée-Anne are away with the show team.

 Caroline Brochu:

A horse lover and a dedicated worker with a keen eye for details, Caroline sees to the daily well-being of our horses.
