Magali

Magali has had a passion for the human-horse relationship since she met her first equine mentor, an Arabian yearling, in the most peculiar way: winning a raffle at her first horse show… true story! This event had a profound impact on her life and her career as Eldorado stayed by her side for nearly 30 years. Through her bond with him, she learned to listen, feel, adapt, appreciate and create her own path.

During those years, she studied psychology & educational psychology and became certified as a competition coach; specializing in show jumping, she shares her experience and particular outlook on things with riders who strive to be competitive in a different way, as well as with those who wish to evolve at home.

Co-owner of MD Stables since 2005 and lifelong learner, she embarked on a journey of personal growth after giving birth to her child in 2020. While continuing to offer her coaching services at the farm, she chose to study therapeutic hypnosis to further support others on their own journeys. It is a whole world of possibilities opening up for her and her clients!

Daniel

Dan grew up on a dairy farm where he developed countless abilities in animal behavior, growing hay, operating & repairing machinery, building fences & shelters, etc. At the time, an auto mechanics course seemed most accessible to channel his interest in taking stuff apart and putting it back together in order to understand how things work.

When he became co-owner of MD Stables in 2005, he found a way to apply all of these skills in one place and further develop them over time. Everything that you see at the farm was either built, renovated or created by him. It’s mind boggling!

Forever curious and in pursuit of innovation, Dan’s desire to improve the yield & the quality of the hay sparked his interest in soil health. This new passion of his is growing through experimentation with raw materials available to him and assistance from experts in soil biology. Proud father, he will be a wonderful role model for his child as he learns to collaborate with nature.
